UNDERSTANDING DEMENTIA COURSE Do you care for someone with Dementia? If so we are rung an Understanding Dementia The course will run for 4 weeks and each session will last for 3 hours. We also offer a one off 2 hour session for your friends and family to attend to help them better understand Dementia too. Starting Friday 26^th April 2013 at Longridge Community Hospital FREE REPLACEMENT CARE CAN BE OFFERED. Contact us on 01254 387444 for more details and to book. ********************************************* PATHWAYS TO WELLNESS Carers Link are now delivering a 6 week course to set you on a pathway to improving your health and wellbeing. The emphasis of the course is to empower you as the carer to look after your own needs and learn about ways to enhance your level of wellbeing by making changes in your daily life. The course covers different topics each week. Course enrolment event Tuesday 23^rd April 2013 1pm-2.30pm in Accrington Starting on Tuesday 30^th April for 6 weeks (1pm-3pm) Call 01254 387444 to book your place. ********************************************* CARERS CHORUS We are pleased to announce due to the popularity and success of the recent 6 week ‘Carers Chorus’ singing course, the start of the Carers Chorus choir group! The sessions will bring Carers together from across East Lancashire to form a singing group which will lead to a performance during Carers Week (for those who (who wish to perform). It’s not about being a good singer, it’s about having a good time while singing..so come along and have a go! Weekly sessions will take place at New Era, Accrington starting on: Thursday 18^th April - 1.30 – 3.30pm Booking is essential.
